Journey in 2004, at purchase
At anchor, in Bimini
Our previous Journey was a 1977 Islander, purchased in 2004. We learned the finer art of avoiding other boats and docks during the six years she was a member of our family. We even sailed her from NC to the Bahamas, before returning to the states in 2010. At 28ft, we discovered that we needed a "bigger boat" to reenter the world of serious, full time cruising.
